Its not wine, but I’ll be honest, its better than a lot of low grade wines. I believe its based off of Cabernet Sauvignon grape must. The nose is nice, with a fairly decent red fruit note. It certainly smells like a wine. The initial taste isn’t far off a wine either, but then its followed up with a slightly sweet grape note that yells grape juice. It imitates well, but falls short in important areas. That said, I’d take this any day over grape juice, or a budget red.
