Loved this rose Prosecco like I never thought I would, always being reluctant when it comes to rose wines. Beautiful pink colour, less salmony than expected. It smelled of strawberries and cream, of stewed rhubarb, with the same following on the taste. Don’t get me wrong, this is NOT a sweet drink. It is very dry indeed, which makes it such a surprising wine. Absolutely loved it. And I believe it to be a lovely choice for foods pairing, with something like a salmon tartare or grilled fruits and soft cheeses.
