Kind of paler beetroot colour. Aroma has some berries, mild lactose, some metallic and a bit rubbery notes. Flavour is berries, some lactose, a bit medicinal and rubbery tones as well. No actual body (more than some berry juice has). No need to get this one another time.

Region: Vin de France Grape Variety: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon ABV: 0.0% Stopper: Screw--cap Medium bodied red wine. Intense cloudy ruby red in colour, on the nose, aromas of blueberry and grape with notes of spices. Light tannins. Well-balanced in acidity. Light and fresh red wine in style. On the palate, dry, rich, simple, aromatic, does not have much wine character, it is like a rich and aromatic grape juice. It has a light finish.

I've been searching all over the world for a decent non-alcoholic red wine. One that would some decent body and mouthfeel with aromas that are similar to real wine, and not taste like cranberry juice or Kool-Aid. But sadly after trying more than 20 different NA wines. I still haven't found one that's any good. I had hopes that Pierre Chavin may finally be the one, but it turned out to be just like all the other ones. I think I've reached the conclusion that it is just not possible to make a decent one. Non-alcoholic white wine (still and sparkling) and beer are decent options, but red wine is a big thumbs down.

And it does have 22% grape juice, boo! When poured the cloudy appearance (see photos) should have given it away. 79% merlot. Fruity. Sweet. Spices give it some depth but I could not drink this. Watch out as it is the 3 pack mix Halal offers.
